Le Taha'a Island Resort & Spa is a traditional Polynesian style hotel only 5 minutes by private boat from the main island of Taha'a. It is the only member of Relais & Chateaux in French Polynesia.

The private terrace with sitting area provides direct access to the lagoon and views of the ocean. Luxurious facilities invite guests to relax in these gorgeous bungalows measuring over 100 sqm with terrace.

The expansive sundeck provides lounge chairs with direct access to the lagoon. Very well appointed bathroom with separate toilets. All overwater Suites offer exclusive accommodations.

10 Beach Villas each with private pool, tropical gardens and surrounded by rock walls provide complete privacy. A perfect location for a honeymoon.

Restaurants

Vanille is the main restaurant of the resort it is open for breakfast and dinner.

Ohiri is for fine dining, open 5 days a week for dinner (from Wednesday to Sunday)

La Plage is located by the pool and beach side. Enjoy beach barbecues and Polynesian  (on Tuesday) or seafood buffets (on Saturday from May to October) accompanied with live entertainment.

Diving

Taha'a Blue Nui Dive Center was built within The Taha'a Island Resort & Spa opened in July 2002,
It is located on the beach of the hotel about 20 yards from the arrival and departure boat.

The marine fauna near Taha'a is incredibly rich, varied and colorful.
The Underwater topography is interesting , with impressive depths, grottos and crevices.
One of the special features is the presence of the Distichopora coral, which creates superb yellow and violet tones on the outward slopes.

There are more than 25 recorded sites around Taha'a and Raiatea, as well as localised dive sites at two of the eight passes through the reef into the single lagoon shared by both islands.
Dive spots are 10 to 25 minutes by boat from the hotel, Reef Passes 8 minutes.
