You'll relax in two of the most beautiful infinity pools in all of Polynesia and meet the colorful fish life in the Lagoonarium in the heart of the resort where you snorkel and watch the pool boys team feed the fish every day.

The aquatic Center is on the spot for diving, snorkeling and all the water sports.

There are two types of overwater bungalows at the  Intercontinental Tahiti Resort, lagoon suite jr. bungalows and Motu bungalows.

Motu is the Tahitian word for an islet, around a little motu the resort built 17 overwater bungalows.

The motu is situated directly on the lagoon, in front of the Lagoonarium, the main pool and the central resort complex. It's a little heaven of peace and tranquility.

There are 15 of the Lagoon Overwater Bungalows, built at the Lotus end of the resort, near the Lotus Restaurant, Lotus Pool and Swim Up Bar, they have large bathrooms with Jacuzzi tubs and separate showers.

They are Junior Suite configuration with 370 sq. ft. (34.5 sq. m) excluding the deck and platform from which you can swim into some 10ft of water.

Activities at Intercontinental Tahiti Resort.

This natural aquarium that unique in the South Pacific. When building the "Fare I’a reservation", the resort recreated the under water conditions found in the ocean by providing a constant flow of sea water. and Intercontinental Tahiti Resort has introduced corals, shells and tropical fishes, the resort now has over 200 sea species of all sizes and colors.

This very delicate ecosystem is regularly controlled and monitored by a team of scientists and you are invited to discover this under water paradise with parrot fishes, rays, and angel fish.

The fitness center and spa is managed by Algotherm, the Deep Nature Spa offers exceptional body care in a unique environment with an incredible view over Moorea Island. The fitness has the latest cardiovascular equipment available for your use.

The hotel has two restaurants offering French, international and local cuisine as well as 2 bars offering savory cocktails.

Laid out as an amphitheater in an authentic Polynesian setting with an open kitchen, the Tiare Restaurant offers a continuous service from 6 am to 9.30 PM every day with a view over the garden and one of the hotel swimming pools.

This restaurant is well known for hosting the most beautiful Tahitian dinner and dance shows.

There are 3 theme dinners every week starting at 7 pm, the dinner shows take place on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, the last two by the famous "Les Grands Ballets de TAHITI".

The hotel gourmet restaurant, "The Lotus", is built on stilts in a dreaming environment near a sand bottom swimming pool, looking out over a spectacular view of Tahiti' sister Island, Moorea.

The Lotus offers a light lunch from midday to 2 PM and a gourmet menu from 6.30 PM to 9.30 PM.

In an intimate and elegant atmosphere,with a sophisticated service, try our gourmet menus and Marc Haeberlin’ specialities (3 stars chef in the Michelin Guide).

The buffets served at the Intercontinental Tahiti Resort are truly remarkable and almost overwhelming to the senses.

Whole roasted pigs, grilled meats, deserts too numerous to count local seafood, breads and cakes, fresh tropical fruits, local vegetables its all here waiting for you.

The Tiki Bar is open from 10 am to midnight and is well known for its musical shows every end of the week starting at 5 PM. Happy Hour is every day between 4:30 PM and 5:30 PM.

• The Lotus Bar, situated in the Lotus sand bottom swimming pool, is open from 10 am to 6 PM every day. Come and enjoy some tropical cocktail in the water.

• The Lobby bar is open from 9:30 PM to 6 am and offers great choices of drinks and snacks, ideal for late arrivals and early departures.

The Deep Nature Spa managed by Algotherm offers exceptional body care, including a Sauna, in a unique
environment with an incredible view over Moorea Island.

or Canoe breakfast delivered for honeymooners staying in overwater bungalow.
