Situated on a small island paradise of 4 hectares, the motu Tiano, the
Tikehau Pearl Beach Resort is nestled in a wild coconut grove bordered
by deserted pink sand beaches, which are unique in Polynesia.
The Tikehau Pearl Beach is a Pearl amongst the Tuamotu Islands. Tikehau means Peaceful Landing in Tuamotuan, it is a coral atoll 340km northeast of Tahiti. The population of Tikehau in 2007 was 507.
On a visit in 1987 Jacques Cousteau's research group made a study of Tikehau's lagoon and they discovered that it contains a greater variety of fish species than any other place in French Polynesia.
Overwater Bungalows and Suites
Overwater Bungalows are located at the beginning of the first pontoon and
feature a glass bottom table to enjoy the spectacular underwater life of the lagoon.
Located at the end of the first pontoon, the Premium Overwater Bungalows (51SM) feature a glass bottom table and also offer a direct access to the translucent lagoon.
The Overwater Suites overhang the calm sandy lagoon on the second pontoon.
In addition to their spacious size, they feature a number of facilities which will make your stay most enjoyable.
The Tikehau Pearl Beach Resort has 13 Beach Bungalows with air conditioning and 24 Overwater Bungalows and suites.
All bungalows, designed in true Polynesian style, are very spacious (55 SM) and are equipped with a fan, mini bar, coffee / tea making facilities, direct dial phone, safe, television and private verandah.
The Over Water Bungalows include a glass section of the floor from which to enjoy the spectacular underwater life of the lagoon.
The Poreho Restaurant and terrace open onto the lagoon, a sumptuous setting for a taste of European and Polynesian cuisine.
