Intercontinental Bora Bora Resort & Thalasso Spa is the first resort in French Polynesia to feature only overwater bungalows (80 Overwater villas of 100 square meter in space, counting the terrace), setting a new benchmark in elegance and service.

The 80 overwater villas all have the following as standard amenities:

A separate living room with a glass-bottom coffee table for viewing the abundant sea life in the lagoon (illuminated at night), a direct dial international phone, internet access, an electronic personal safety box.

A separate bedroom with a walk-in dressing room, a large and bright bathroom open to the lagoon with shower and separated bathtub a magnifying mirror, a hair dryer, a shaver plug 110V/220V, complimentary luxurious toiletries, separated toilets, a large wardrobe, sofa bed and pull out bed for a third adult and a child or for two children.

A very large under shade terrace equipped with sun beds and dining table, a spacious sun deck, shower and solarium.

The overwater villas all feature a special eco-friendly air-conditioning system, a daily restocked mini bar, complimentary tea and coffee making facilities, an espresso machine, 2 flat-screen televisions with DVD/CD player, on demand movies, and all the amenities and comfort of a five-star property

The lagoon of Bora Bora constitutes the best asset of the island and an excellent playground for many lagoon activities.

Island tours using either an outrigger canoe or a jet ski remain the best way of discovering the extraordinary colors of its crystal-clear waters, those flat embarkations making it possible to reach the furthest and most secluded spots and beaches.

Le Reef Restaurant interprets tropical Polynesian style with relaxed sophistication and fine gourmet cuisine.

Breakfast is served early, and dinner features light dishes such as the famous Lobster Ravioli with Langouste Consommé.

Eating on the terrace overlooking the lagoon and beach is delightful, but if you prefer, an air-conditioned dining room is also available.

The Sands Restaurant is the epitome of island life, casual, breezy and situated on a private stretch of white sand beach.

You will find yourself dropping by for a light lunch, afternoon snacks or exotic fresh fruit cocktails with friends at the end of a day in the sun.

Especially popular is the Sands’ original recipe for Les Coffrets, box-shaped pastries filled with meat or fish.

 

Romance and Weddings

Bride and Groom arrive at their wedding ceremony in outrigger canoe.

The following Romantic Amenities are complimentary for Honeymooners when their reservation indicates that they are on their honeymoon.

This dinner is served on the terrace of your villa decorated to offer a romantic atmosphere.
